This is a fully interactive method, and we work closely together. I find this method useful for those who “know” they must participate in the process, and have a need to understand and verbally speak their story, and want to consciously use their own powers and revelations to facilitate the retrieval. This method takes longer, is more involved, and requires a greater amount of time and commitment to healing one’s own life and story.
I find that many long time meditaters, professional therapists, counselors or medical professionals, professors and researchers, business CEO'S, lawyers and any who practice energy medicine regularly select this method. While this method is longer and much more in depth, it enables the client to fully know her/his story and have further healing resources that can be used throughout life. This is a more analysis based spiritual ceremony where we delve into the spiritual symbology that presents. in addition, There are 5 additional empowering journeys that we do together. Working together, we explore and recover soul stories and find out much more information about you, your purpose, your gifts and talents.
How it works: a general description
STEP ONE: In this method, I start by completing a shamanic journey for the client a week or two BEFORE the soul retrieval ceremony. During this journey, I ask the client’s energy to show me what is appropriate in order to complete the soul retrieval. I journey to the other worlds in the non-ordinary reality, and I visit with the energies of the client and his/her guardians and guides. I am guided to the soul pieces, and I listen to the stories that are presented through symbols and messages. I return and record the journey (in written form) so that the client may read what has been retrieved and interpret the symbols. I email this for the clients records.
Afterward, we speak and I discuss the messages that were given, and together we make sense of the symbology. The client and I walk through the events together by several means. I help the client understand and explore the images and meanings of what was presented in ways that make sense to them.
We plan to meet for several more interactive journeys together, and a ceremony of integration.
To help the client prepare for this day,I share a specific meditation/journey process to practice for themselves, that uses no drugs or mind altering plants or drinks, etc. In this process, the client will "journey" to a lovely, safe garden that resides in the heart space. Known as “Eden”, the garden is the personal safe haven of the client. It is unique to the client and will be the point of departure and return during the soul retrieval process. We can learn to journey to Eden together prior to the retrieval if needed. It is not difficult to learn! I will send an information sheet that allows the client to practice this ahead of time.
STEP TWO: On the day of the actual soul retrieval integration ceremony, the client comes to my designated healing space. The client and I work together using interactive meditation with the drum, the client and I go together in search of the additional stories that will aid healing.
This is an amazing adventure that we take together, exploring and making sense of the what your soul story is telling you about your life, your purpose, how to let go of unwanted stories and create the life of healing that you desire. This is not counseling or therapy, its a discovery of your energy story and path for improvement. (counseling and therapy from qualified professionals may aid your healing even more if you find you need this.)
NOTE: This is a day-long event, and takes several hours for all parts to be completed. However, we will take many frequent breaks, and there should be light snacks and plenty of liquids prepared before the day begins. It sounds more difficult than it is, and remember - I am here every step of the way with you.
How interactive journeying works: details
On the day of the ceremony, I arrive around 10 am. Once we begin, here is what takes place during the journeys:
1) Together we enter the spiritual “caves” or "chambers" of our heart, based on the South American practice outlined in the book "Mending the Past and Healing the Future with Soul Retrieval" by Alberto Villoldo, PhD. In this cosmology, the four chambers of the heart are the places we journey to together in dreamtime, each holding a place of important messages for the client. We journey first to the center of the heart, the "garden" that is the healing space within each of us. From there we depart to the other chambers :
When this process is over, the actually soul retrieval integration ceremony takes place, usually the same day, but sometimes the client wants to have the ceremony at a later date. (If done on another day, this can be negotiated for an additional fee.)
The actual soul retrieval is a beautiful, ancient ceremony that helps the client to process and integrate all that has been gathered and come home.
SOUL RETRIEVAL CEREMONY
This is the actual event in which you are re-integrated with all retrieved soul pieces. The process is beautiful and can be very emotional. You can invite one person to be present at the soul retrieval ceremony who is close to you, loves you, and will welcome home the “complete” you. However, you do not have to have anyone present if you feel this is too private and wish to experience this in your own sacred way.
The ceremony will be held at my studio/healing space, where I have all the tools and material we will need for drumming and ceremonial work. It is a safe and comfortable space without distraction.
I will prepare the ceremony area, which is simply a soft place to lie down next to the client (usually a palette on the floor or ground). I require a person to drum for me, and it often is the person you invite. Don't worry! its a very simple process and no experience is necessary at all. However, I can have an assistant present (at a small added charge) or we can use a recording if absolutely necessary.
The ceremony is quite beautiful and symbolic. After prayers and grounding/shielding, the client and I lie together shoulder to shoulder in the pallet area, eyes closed. The drummer begins, and I go into dreamtime and retrieve the soul pieces that have come forth in the earlier journey. It is not a trance, but a practiced state of entering non-ordinary reality while still being present and in control. All power animals, gifts and talents, or additional messages that wish to be integrated will come forth during the journey. This can take a few minutes to half an hour. I "gather" the pieces and bring them back, and then after allowing a time for the pieces to be healed, I will blow them into the client’s crown chakra, and then into the heart chakra as well.
After the "blowing in" segment, I do energy healing work with the client, allowing the body and energy field to reintegrate the soul piece energies. This is based on the ceremonies of many indigenous cultures from Celtic to Peruvian to Hawaiian and Native American. When I feel everything is balanced, I ask the client to open his/her eyes, and I welcome him/her home. I share the story of what took places, and the client may also share his/her experiences.Others present are asked to welcome home the “complete” soul.
Now we ground our energy and celebrate! We partake of finger food and drink, or whatever the client brings, grounding the energies and discussing the ceremony and the protocols and homework for the coming weeks, as full integration takes place.
AFTER SOUL RETRIEVAL
The soul retrieval is an amazing healing event, allowing the client to have a complete energy field, maybe for the first time since birth. Functioning in energetic totality can be QUITE A CHANGE, SO PLEASE GO SLOWLY AS YOU ADJUST. I have many resources of some wonderful therapists, counselors, grief counselors, and others who specialize in making sense of the emotions and mental thoughts that can still be in need of healing. Remember, soul retrieval allows the spirit and the soul to be rewoven and become whole, but it is a BEGINNING to your healing. If you still need emotional or mental assistance you must continue and work on this in addition to the soul and spirit work you do.
An outline of what additional things you can do following the retrieval will be provided after the ceremony. Many things will/can change quite rapidly!!! Others will be more gradual, but a soul retrieval is a life changing ceremony and is something all people can benefit from.

YOU MAY AUDIO RECORD ANY PART you wish (for only your personal study, not for posting), but the journaling process is still needed. Writing will bring up more information that may have not been present at the journey.
- The entire process takes several hours. Together, the client and I work through the energetic events that led to the soul loss and discuss the environment in which the pieces will be brought home to heal.
