WHY LEARN THE ART OF SOUND HEALING?
Any professional who works with clients in a healing way can benefit from including 10-15 minutes of sound therapy with your client at the start of your regular session. The science continues to show us that even a few minutes of the right kind of healing sound drastically reduces anxiety and puts the brain and sympathetic nervous system into a "healing ready" state. It does so quickly, without having to work hard or wait. By directly affecting the brain and the parasympathetic nervous system, healing sounds immediately bring both you and your client into a quiet and clear place of awareness, allowing you to work together more efficiently, with better results. Clients are looking for relief from pain, trauma, anxiety, or a sense of peace and improvement in self. Confidence in your abilities, and a safe place to heal are why your clients come to YOU. With sound healing, your client will know that within minutes they will begin to feel better! The interaction you create through the performance of healing sound lets you client know you are present, paying attention, that you are personally creating something special for them. This builds a trust in your client-practitioner relationship, which grows your business, and most importantly, guarantees people leave your office or studio with a sense of relief and well-being. WHY TAKE A CERTIFICATION COURSE AT ALL? Anyone can buy a singing bowl or some chimes and rattles, and use them. Do you know which singing bowls create a calm reaction and which create a"release" reaction? Can you select the right pitches and understand how your client may react, and why? What routine works best for a short session? What if you don't have alot of room? Are those $3,000 crystal bowls really worth it? Knowing what to do, how to do it, and why are the most important questions we will answer in this weekend workshop, packed with information, science, skill development, networking and fellowship. WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM THIS CERTIFICATION? This workshop is geared toward practitioners who already practice in a professional capacity and want to expand their repertoire of healing techniques. These are only some of the professionals who will benefit from this training:
WHAT WILL I LEARN IN THIS WEEKEND CERTIFICATION COURSE? Several learning modules are presented: some focus on information, and some focus on performance techniques. The sound healing techniques you will learn are easy to understand practice, and will achieve results quickly. CLICK HERE FOR A FULL DESCRIPTION WHAT DO I NEED TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS COURSE? You don't need alot of expensive equipment, but you do need a few things. REQUIRED EQUIPMENT Don't spend alot for this training! You can find some good, inexpensive sound tools online. If you can hear them before buying, even better. You can order from Amazon and return if you don't like them. Make sure they will arrive in time for the class! . YOU NEED: 1) Any size Singing Bowl, preferably metal, with striker. Pick one that sound good to YOU. Preferably pitched in C, G, D, or A. 2) TWO different rattles or shakers, each with a different sound. Ideally, one is "crisp" and one is "soft or sandy" . You can choose any size, even a small "egg" shaker. You do not have to spend alot on this! Amazon or Etsy ....find something inexpensive . Optional: "Three Chime Bar." Amazon has many. You are welcome to bring other sound instruments: more on that in the class! WILL I BE AN ACCREDITED PROFESSIONAL SOUND BATH PERFORMER AFTER THIS COURSE? This certification is more than adequate for anyone interested in the art of sound healing, and who plans to use it in a limited business capacity. However, this is NOT a complete certification for someone who wants to become a professional sound bath performer or sound studio operator. Those certifications are thousands of dollars and thousands of hours of practice and performance. You can find those online if you are interested, I recommend researching: soundhealingtraining.teachable.com/ www.academyofsoundhealing.com/certified-sound-healing-courses |
