 Journey for a New Year was a joyous and amazing experience! 57 people left their warm cozy houses on December 30, 2017 to drive in the rain and (some) sleet to come together as a tribe and to dream into being 2018- for ourselves, our state of Mississippi, and our planet! We each used our own good medicine to let go, heal and create anew as we entered into the next phase of our "story" here on planet Gaia. Old stories were finished, new chapters were written. It was an honor seeing and being with everyone as we shared this sacred space. What amazing adventure it was, in a beautiful, sacred space. THANK YOU Thank you again to Gena Steele for originally offering her fabulous space at Thairapy Garden for this event, and for getting our PA and for drumming! Thank you to Joe Powell for finding us a place at St.James when our numbers outgrew our original space, and for moving furniture, opening doors, etc to make this happen! Thank you to Nina Ghaffari for sageing and drumming, to Linda Brewer and Barbara Boss for loaning us Riverwolf (the big drum) and to Nick Hunter for photos, heavy lifting, shaman caddying and checking in guests. Most of all....thank all of YOU for attending and for bringing your good energy and healing powers! There were many new journeyers as well as sage elders. All were needed and all were incredible! CONGRATULATIONS Congratulations to door prize winners: I hope you use your new journals throughout 2018 and have fabulous things to report at next year's event!
